I am eternally grateful to William Blinn for creating them and to Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul who gave them life in their own inimitable style. My stories are a tribute to the talents of all three, and to the other 3 stars of the show: Captain Dobey (Bernie Hamilton) Huggy Bear (Antonio Fargas) and last but by no means least a 1974 Ford Gran Torino with an outrageous paint job.

Starsky and Hutch "two rough, tough young cops walking a tightrope in a world of crime" (as the BBC used to put it every week) work in the violent world of the Bay City Police Department (aka LAPD). Sometimes they meet violence with violence. They aren't choirboys; they swear, they have sex...in short they behave like human beings.
